Gryph’s Friends Program, offered by The Barklay, provides a safe haven for pets in need during emergencies or crises, including situations such as escaping abuse, house fires, natural disasters, sudden homelessness, medical emergencies, and more.
This program offers free boarding services for up to two weeks, ensuring the safety and well-being of both the owner and their beloved pet during times of crisis. Each case is handled with sensitivity and care by our team, with extensions available as needed.
Our priority is to provide a supportive environment where both pets and their owners can find refuge and support.
A Safe Haven
Gryph’s Friends Program at The Barklay works by offering a safe boarding space for pets with owners facing emergencies or crises, such as escaping abuse, house fires, natural disasters, sudden homelessness, and medical emergencies.
- Get In Touch: Owners in need contact The Barklay's General Manager or Owner, who carefully assess each case. Privacy is carefully considered.
- Free Boarding Services: Once in the program, the pet is provided with free boarding services for up to two weeks. This includes the same high-quality care and accommodations as regular boarding guests.
- Safety and Well-being: The Barklay ensures the safety and well-being of both the pet and owner during their time of need. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations to ensure a healthy environment for all pets.
- Extensions: If a longer stay is required or an extension is needed beyond the initial two weeks, owners can discuss their situation with The Barklay's management team to make necessary arrangements.
- Confidentiality: To protect the privacy and safety of owners, The Barklay does not post Gryph’s Friends guests on their social media pages.
